William "Chip" Watts Has Been Appointed Regional V.P. For IREM® Region 5

Chip Watts was inducted this week as IREM Regional Vice President for Region 5 for the 2011-2012 term. The footprint of Region 5 includes the States of Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. There are 37 Accredited Management Organizations® in Region 5. A total of 528 members of IREM®, of which 218 are designated Certified Property Managers (CPM®). As an IREM® Regional VP, Chips responsibilities will be to provide ongoing guidance, advice, and support to the chapters within the region. He will serve as a spokesperson for IREM® with media, real estate owners and investors, employers of real estate management professionals and colleges and universities. He will travel around the region as the liaison between IREM® Headquarters and local chapters.
