A New Restaurant is Set For Historic Downtown Homewood

Watts Realty Co., Inc. has successfully leased the 2,055 sf space at the vital intersection of 18th Street South & 29th Avenue South. The new restaurant, Urban Cookhouse, is a farm-to-table restaurant and part of a movement to eat local, taking advantage of seasonally available fruits and vegetables with meals consisting of progressive, modern foods with a distinct urban, yet Southern touch via unique and sophisticated fresh ingredients, use of local suppliers, and an emphasis on quick service. Urban Cookhouse believes in and practices environmental stewardship and support of the local community. Urban Cookhouse is set to open Spring 2010. Amanda Hardin of Watts represented the Landlord.
